Irrigation Technician

Lisa Miller has worked for the TCRCD since 2001 as an Irrigation Technician.  Lisa holds an AA degree in General Education from Shasta College with a certificate in Natural Resources. In 2003, Lisa trained at the Cal Poly Irrigation Training and Research Center in Irrigation System Evaluations and received a certificate to perform landscape and farm irrigation audits. Lisa has participated in field work conducted in connection with a 17,000-acre noxious weeds survey in the Bureau of Land Management’s Bend Area of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC).  In addition, she has participated in an array of plant surveys for elderberries and other species. Lisa possesses the following skills:

·         Extensive knowledge of threatened, endangered, and invasive species

·         Extensive experience in the use of GPS equipment, airphotos, and topographic maps

·         Knowledge of drainage and irrigation system operations and maintenance
