Yard and Garden Evaluations

The TCRCD is now offering yard and garden evaluations. Through the Sierra Nevada Alliance the TCRCD has a grant for home owners on Tehama’s East side. Our new service will provide a variety of information that can help your yard establish and maintain a healthy connection to the natural environment. Services we provide include:

    • Full audit of irrigation systems
    • Soil analysis
    • Native and drought tolerant plant information
    • Defensible wildfire space
    • Wildlife enhancement information
With a well designed and maintained yard you can help expand your living space, conserve resources, and give back to the environment by:

    • Promoting native vegetation
    • Promoting the well-being of life
    • Maintaining the integrity of native soils
