May contain: river, water, nature, outdoors, waterfall, person, human, hat, clothing, and apparel

"I grew up in the Bay Area but spent many summers in Lassen National Park camping and hiking with my family in and around Drakesbad. The night skies and bountiful outdoors in the Lassen area will always be some of my favorite in the world."

Rose is currently serving an 11-month AmeriCorps term with the RCD through the GrizzlyCorps program, which places 20 fellows throughout Northern California to work on regenerative agriculture and forestry initiatives. Rose grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, but was introduced to agriculture at a young age through her family's business growing wine grapes in Sonoma County. Rose is passionate about sustainable food systems, forest ecology, wildfire prevention, and prescribed burning. She is grateful to have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from the experienced staff of the RCD.
