Mineral & Stringtown Hazard Tree Removal

Season two of tree removal is anticipated to begin on Aspen Lane West on Tuesday, May 28th (originally May 23rd). When operations begin, expect noise from equipment and potential traffic delays. Access via HWY 36 to Aspen, Aspen Lane West, Aspen Lane East, Sugar Pine, and Lodgepole Lanes may be limited for your safety.

The RCDTC has partnered with the Mineral Firewise USA® Council to implement Phase I of the Mineral & Stringtown Hazard Tree Removal Project. This project will ultimately serve Mineral's Cool-Air, Lassen Alpine Village, and Meadowview subdivisions in addition to Stringtown to treat dead, dying, and diseased trees, and trees that violate Public Resources Code 4291. The Mineral & Stringtown Hazard Tree Removal Project is a TinderSmart Tehama program available at no additional cost to residents.
