Kathryn Raeder

Kathryn was born and raised just outside of Chicago, IL. After deciding that winters there were not quite cold enough, she attended McGill University in Canada and received her BA in Geography in 2021. Following graduation, she headed west to lead a wilderness trail crew in Idaho. In September 2021, she started her 11-month service term as a GrizzlyCorps Rural Climate Fellow with the RCDTC. Since August 2022, Kathryn has served as the Forestry Project Specialist with a focus on prescribed fire, environmental education, and community protection projects.
