Riley Wills

Riley was born in Placerville, CA and grew up in the Sierra Nevada foothills. After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force as a C-17 Crew Chief stationed in Charleston, SC and at multiple bases overseas. After his active duty time, he worked in the aerospace industry developing and managing aircraft modification, retrofit, and upgrade projects. In addition to serving as regional coordinator for the Northern Sacramento Valley Coalition, Riley leads the effort to implement the RCD's first drone program. Utilizing state-of-the-art aerial data collection technologies and data analysis techniques, this program will help inform our decisions as land stewards and aid in creating and executing important environmental health projects. After so many years away he is grateful to live in Northern California again, making a meaningful contributions to the land and local communities with the hope that everyone will try to make our planet a better place for generations to come.
