Seronica Biggs

Position: District Forester/RPF 3221
May contain: adult, male, man, person, clothing, hat, rodeo, animal, horse, mammal, footwear, shoe, horseback riding, and leisure activities

"I was born and raised here in the north state and call Cottonwood my home. Being outdoors to me usually means being on a horse gathering, branding, doctoring, or shipping cows. I also enjoy evenings around a fire pit with a cold drink in my hand."

Seronica is the 3rd generation to be working in the woods and it is something she loves to do. She has forestry and natural resources degrees and has obtained her Registered Professional Forester (RPF)  license. She also has a certificate in Geographical Information Systems and enjoys being able to create maps for all different array of works. She has worked in the timber department for the Forest Service as well as a private contractor for PG&Es’ vegetation management department. Recently she has worked for Crane Mills as a Forester and looks forward to bringing her knowledge and skills to the RCD, creating large landscape projects to reduce wildfires and learning a different side of the Forestry world.
