"I passionate about regenerative food systems, ecological management and stewardship, and environmental education. Outside of work also enjoys backpacking, sharing food with friends and swimming in freshwater."

After graduating from Centre College in 2023 with a BA in Environmental Studies, Shamik moved to California to serve as a GrizzlyCorps Fellow with the RCD of Tehama County. Shamik has been a project coordinator since 2025.
