Born and raised in Red Bluff, California, Tom Stroing is the fourth of six generations to raise cattle in Tehama County. He began his career with CalFire as a teenager and went on to serve with dedication for over 30 years, retiring as a chief officer.

After retirement, Tom returned to his roots and now runs the family ranch full time alongside his wife and daughters. Together, they raise a strong selection of calves for youth to show competitively across California and in other states. In addition, they produce high quality, locally raised beef for families who value knowing where their food comes from.

In his free time, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, attending cattle shows, and restoring old cars. He is passionate about family, livestock, and land stewardship committed to preserving the health and productivity of the ranch for future generations.
