“Growing up in Tehama County for most of my life, I have learned to appreciate the beauty and nature of this place. Anything from fishing on the Sacramento River, to hiking the beautiful trails on the Bend, or simply being on the ranch in Lake California with family.”
Mari attended Red Bluff High School and graduated in 2017 and is now attending Shasta College in hopes to transfer to Chico State and pursue a degree in either Plant Science or Soil Science with a minor in Spanish. One of Mariana’s biggest goals to achieve with the RCD is to get involved with the community and help Latinos and other minorities throughout the county. Biliterate in Spanish and English, she hopes to communicate with the Latino population on the numerous resources and programs the RCD has to offer.
